🎓 Advanced Education in Specialized Neurosurgical Areas

We aim to deepen understanding in areas where clinical exposure is limited, including:

• Implant biomechanics and stabilization techniques

• Selection strategies for implants and constructs

• High-level neurosurgical decision-making beyond standard procedures like hemilaminectomy or ventral slot

Education will be delivered primarily through expert lectures, supported by in-depth case discussions.

🔄 A Step Toward a Revived Neurosurgery Community

We will begin a discussion around creating an ongoing veterinary neurosurgery forum—either annual or semi-annual.

While the Veterinary Neurosurgical Society, founded in 2010, was a strong initial effort, momentum waned over time. Our hope is to reignite that shared vision and build something sustainable and impactful for the profession.
